A girlfriend called up frantically on Wednesday and asked I’m keen to write and do artwork for a Mediacorp-affiliated magazine.

I was like, is it the Wine Club??

I could manage with wine, but not too sure abt ‘winx’ (or wings?).

But business has been slow for the start of Feb. For the sake of paying my bills, i agreed.

Its fun sometimes to do crash jobs like this, since it pushes me out of my comfort zone as I discover abt my capabilities (and limitations) and yet I couldn’t back out since I’ve already gave the word that I will do it.

At the same time, it is interesting to find out what entices children these days, other than the Wii and PSP consoles.

And it turned out that past preferences never run out with any generation, as long as there is a blend of magic and adventure…
